On the website www.tukes.fi you will find safety instructions, videos and topical articles on working near power lines. The site contains instructions on tree felling work, farming, crane work and excavation works. There is also advice on how to avoid accidents, and instructions for situations where an electric cable has become damaged.
You can ask for advice from our free tree-felling advisory service. The service includes guidance on safe felling of trees near power lines.
Tree felling, the necessary permits and subsequent measures are the responsibility of the site owner.
